           Mr. Nichols brings over 25 years of petroleum engineering experience to Ramsey Property Management, LLC.  His petroleum engineering career began in 1981 with Exxon Corporation in their Oklahoma City and Midland, Texas, district offices where he worked as a production engineer and subsequently as a reservoir engineer, and carried increasing responsibilities for major field developments in the Arkoma Basin, the Anadarko Basin, the Texas Panhandle, and the Rockies.  Prior to joining Ramsey Property Management, LLC, Mr. Nichols provided consultant work for independent producers and royalty owners.

 

          Mr. Nichols' association with Ramsey Property Management, LLC began in 1988.  As a Petroleum Engineer, his areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, AFE preparation, permitting, competitive bidding and supervising drilling operations, together with managing operated producing wells including well surveillance, gas contracts, workover recommendations, equipment procurement and general well work.  He also performs pre-drill economics, property evaluations, estate evaluations, water flood feasibility studies and unitization negotiations.

 

        He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the Dean's Honor Roll and Pi Epsilon Tau honorary scholastic fraternity.  He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers of AIME and is also a registered professional engineer.
